The training was facilitated by experts from Victoria Ventures, led by Ms. Phyllis Mbiyu. Topics covered included Mindset Shift, Business Model Development, and Monetization of Intellectual Property (IP). Participants were encouraged to think creatively and strategically about leveraging research outputs to create impactful solutions and market-ready products.
In his remarks, the Vice-Chancellor Prof. Henry Mutembei urged students and staff to embrace bold, innovative ideas and assured them of the university’s unwavering support in transforming their creative concepts into tangible innovations that address societal challenges and drive economic growth.
